Hey guys, I recently setup both 110 and 119 on 1 dish. I'm using a SW-21 switch since I'm using Direct TV legacy LNBs, Now since I can get 110 and 119 on one dish and the spacing between 119 and 110 is almost the same for 119 and 129. I just plan on adding a 3rd LNB to get 129. If I can get good signal on all 3, I'll be getting a switch for all 3 sats. Since I'm really considering getting a HD receiver.

I understand that I can use a SW-31 switch to get all 3 sats but how does the SW-31 work with the Nano 2. I currectly have it converted to I-Link. The SW-21 works great but I remember I tried a SW44 switch with the Nano 2 before and I could not get it working. I don't know if other receivers have the same issue. I might be getting a Sonicview 8000 HD.

So which switch do you guys use or recommend to get 110, 119 and 129?

Also for 129 you can just use a Legacy LNB right?

Yep...you can use a legacy lnb to get 129...

I would suggest getting a Chieta heavy duty switch....you can connect up to four lnbs to it...I have been using the same ones for several years with no problems...and they are pretty inexpensive.

You should switch from the sw type dn switch to a regular 4 x 1 DiSEqC type switch if using only 1 receiver with 3 legacy type lnbs. Hopefully the legacy lnbs are duals so you can double up and have capabilities for 2 receivers using another same switch.

What size and type of dish are you using for 110/119?

As the 110/119/129 combination is a bit tricky to tune all 3 in all at once, even with a dish designed for that setup, I used a Dish 500 with a DP twin LNB for 110/119 and a second larger dish (39") with a single band stacked LNB for 129, all this run into a DPP44 switch, runs great, no fade outs on 129W, customer was very happy. (Dish 1000.2 wasn't doing the job)

Good question. I'm in Canada and I'm getting 110 and 119 with a 36", I figured since I can get 110 with the LNB on one side, I can add another LNB to the other side of 119 to get 129. The LNB for 119 is centered. Of course this is assuming that I can get the same signal strenght on 129 that I get on 110. If not, I'll probably will have to get a separate dish just for 129.

This is my current setup

My Nano 2 came with a DiSEqC switch. I think is a 3 x 1. Does that mean 3 sat inputs and out to 1 receiver? I never used FTA receivers till now. So I'm only used to the regular switches and LNBs. So this DiSEqC switches take regular legacy LNBs? Do I need to set any spesific options in the receiver if using a DiSEqC switch?

I think I also have a SW-21 and a SW-21X, I believe I can use both to get 3 sats right?
