I have had my fortec hooked to my 4DTV receiver on C Band & now I would like to hook up my KU Band the problem is I dont know how, two high frequncy spliter's KU & Cband one from each spliter, to 4dtv receiver the other 2 coaxil to 2 port disq switch to the fortec in, from their I am lost do I hook up 1 port to C band SAT'S the other port to KU BAND SAT'S, what do I do with the 22KHZ switch it is currently off, Im a little timid to keep going without some advice

Well, you really can't hurt anything, so experimentation is OK.
I would say that you don't want any splitters in-line unless you plan to power the LNBs from diff source and then you should be powering ALL of the LNBs that you bring to the diseqc sw (and forget about H/V control if you do power from external source). You don't need 22KHz, so leave setting OFF. Each LNB needs to get to a single port on the diseqc sw--usually the very short pulsing of 22KHz from the box tells the sw to enable a single port and divert power to that port only to control H/V polarity.
