No channels come in on vertical bliond scan on ultra,just wondering if there is short in coaxial cable coming in from sat? thanx

If there was a short you wouldn't get a thing.
V transponders are switched by +13 volts on a legacy LNB, we need to know what type of LNB you are using.
Horizontal TP's = +18 volts on a legacy LNB.
Vertical TP's = +13 volts on a legacy LNB.
Wondering if this may be for true fta sats using linear type lnb, if so skew is important. If for ultra as in VS, blind scan does not work well at all. If for using circular lnb, usually the horizontal have the problem because of the 18v needed.

You should blind scan vertical tps only if you are using dishpro lnbs for any other type lnb use blind scan all.
