Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers acquired infielder Joe Inglett off waivers from Toronto, the club announced Friday.
Inglett, 31, played 36 games for the Blue Jays last year, finishing with a .281 average and just six runs batted in.
The versatile position player appeared in a career-high 109 games in 2008, batting .297 with 39 RBI and 45 runs scored for Toronto.
For his career, Inglett has batted .293 with 68 RBI for Cleveland (2006) and Toronto (2007-09).
