PEANUT PATTI CANDY FOR MICROWAVE
1/2 c. white Karo
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Dash of salt
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 to 3 drops red coloring
Combine first 4 ingredients in glass microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir and add peanuts. Cook 9 to 11 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until creamy. May use greased muffin pan or drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Don't beat too long. May reheat for a few seconds, if mixture hardens. Work fast! Makes about 18 to 20 patties.
