angles and location for movies and desi channels

hi in which directon i should point my disd to get movies english as i think the satellites will be 119 and 121 ,, i mean south with elevation

The sats are 119w and 110w. Go to
http://www.dishpointer.com and put in your location, and select these 2 sats, and will give you the elvation and direction and skew for the dish.

If you want international channels, you will need to get the special 119/118 lnb and use it in the 119W position. It will receive both 119W and 118.7W. The internationals are on 118.W. You will need to use 10750 as the lnb frequency with that lnb for both 119W and 118W. Depending on your location, you may need a larger dish to get 118W.

hi i have my bell dish installed , now i installed a bigger dish in that place to get 119 and 118.7 w ,the questions is thedish is facing neighbour wall , before the bell used to work their despite neighbour wall , will the bigger dish will have problem to get the signal which bell dish have not before. and how much i need to move away from bell dish to get 119 and 110 w , i am kliving in GTA

Was the bell dish pointed at 119w (118.7w) and 110w before or was it pointed at 91w and 82w before? the dish will be pointing more westward for the 119w (118.7w) and 110w. Check out the link given above for the pointing coordinates.

i think it was pointed at the one youmentioned , but when i moved in i was still amased that it is almost 75% obscured by the wall and still working help i have bout the satfinder ver1.6 on my iphone but it is also not very helpful thanks buddy

also i just changed the dish but using other equipment from bell like a splitter kind of switch and a power amplifier , do they have any undesirable effects or not help
