Can you use Dp 44 with nfps ?

I am trying to get signal from dish installed by dishnetwork with dish 500 with 129,119,118.5,110 along with dp44 switch can they work with nfps. or do I have to use disqe switch ?

To answer your question, yes they work, or at least mine does. You MUST have a power inserter tho. For 4 birds you are going to need 2 DPP44's tho, trunk them and your good to go. This is my setup.

The DPP44 switch will handle the 110,118,119 and 129 satellites in 1 switch just fine, (using DP LNB's) that's what it's designed for, however the FTA receiver will not like the DPP44 power inserter, you will have to run the power inserter on it's own coax to the switch's receiver port #1, the FTA receivers can run on receiver ports 2,3 and 4.

Satellite inputs to the switch are 119 on LNB input port #1, 110 on port #2, 129 on port #3 and 118 on port #4.

FTA receiver Diseqc switch settings in the satellite menus follow the LNB input ports, #1 = 119, #2 = 110, #3 = 129 and #4 = 118.

Just to clear things up for you, a Dish 500 only has 119 & 110. A Dish 500 Plus has 110/119/118.7. A Dish 1000 Plus has 119/110/129/118.7. Also, 129 is for HD only.

Why would he need two DPP44 for? A DPP44 has 4 inputs for all 4 sats mentioned above.
