- The Great Khali turned heel at tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings, attacking Ranjin Singh. Khali then left with Jinder Mahal as the two will be forming a heel tag team to go after the WWE Tag Team Titles.
- Kharma did not appear at tonight's tapings but was shown in the Slam of the Week video of her breakdown on RAW Monday.
- Sheamus is the new #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title after beating Christian and Mark Henry in a triple threat match at tonight's tapings. It's expected that Sheamus will get his shot against Randy Orton at WWE's Capitol Punishment pay-per-view.
