Panasonic microwave 1200 watt

My microwave when started will run for 10 seconds than shut off no matter what amount of time you select. Any idea of what this may be or I should check

could be the timer itself or could be some type of safety feature kicking in. Either way I don't think it is anything you will be able to fix yourself
