View Full Version : Getting 129W on 33" with 110/119 on it

Hi guys.

I've got a setup with a 33" dish with a "pocket" bracket that gets 110/119. Both are well pointed with a strong signal.

QUESTION: Can I add another LNB to this setup that will give me 129W? Is there a bracket that will allow me to switch the current setup?

Thx.

I have no problem receiving 119/118 and 110 on a 30" dish. The 119/118 LNB is placed in the center(on the end of the dish arm) and 110 is offset lower and to the west. You should be able to receive 129 as well with a "Magic Bracket" or similar, offset higher and to the east of the 119LNB. It will be even easier with an elliptical dish.

Thank you for the reply.

I already have 110/119 in place. As I am looking at the front of the dish, I know that the 129 LNB has to be on the right side, beside the 119 LNB. I am just wondering of the relative position and spacing to the 119 LNB... ie/ how far to the right and how far up, forward or back, again relative to the 119 LNB. BTW, I am in the GTA.

The difference in LNB height between 129 & 119 will be almost the same as the space between 119 & 110. The space between will be slightly more between 129 & 119 then 119 & 110 for the obvious reason.
