BENGALS DT PEKO TO MISS TWO GAMES; RB SCOTT LIKELY OUT

THE SPORTS NETWORK

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals will be without defensive tackle Domata Peko and most likely running back Bernard Scott when they play at Minnesota on Sunday.

"Domata (Peko) had surgery today, so we'll be without him for a couple weeks. We'll see how quickly he comes back from that," said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis at Monday's press conference. "Bernard (Scott) is improving. Right now, I would say we'll probably be without those players for Minnesota, and everybody else will be likely to play."

Peko is expected to miss at least two weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on Monday. He suffered a sprained left knee in the Bengals' 28-17 loss against Houston on October 18 but continued to play through the injury. Peko then sprained the medial collateral ligament in the other knee in a 20-17 setback at Oakland on November 22 and came back to play versus Cleveland the following week but left early with the injury.

The four-year veteran had started 43 straight games prior to missing Sunday's 23-13 win over Detroit. He has 23 total tackles in 11 games this season.

Scott, who is suffering from a toe injury, has rushed for 301 yards on 68 carries and caught five passes for 67 yards in 11 games, including one start this year.
