I'm running a OB S9 with my 10' Winegard bud in conjunction with a VBox 7hd and a DMS BSC621-2 C/Ku LNB.

It seems that my LNB took a direct lightning strike today and it appears that my "Signal Intensity" is just about down to nothing now. The OB and Vbox seems to be ok, they accept commands just as in the past but nothing from the LNB..... I have done everything I know the solve this problem and come to the conclusion that the LNB is shot and needs to be replaced (I got this LNB, I guess when they first came out for $2.95 + $12.00 ship, hard to believe). I use this set-up mostly for C-Band.

My question is: for what I'm using this for which would be the best the DMS BSC621-2 C/Ku or the DSM621-2D C/Ku or does anyone have any other recommendations???

Thanxxx

I change lnbf quite often just to test what is new out there. I have my bands seperate so I'm not using a combined c/ku lnbf. However, I've heard good things about the dmx741 and also tested it for a while. As for your above stated question, either feed would do.

Costactc,

Thanxxx for your reply and insight. I guess at this point I'll probally stick w/a DSM product since the lnb I got have performed so well for so long.

In short simple terms are you familiar with differences between the DMS BSC621-2 C/Ku or the DSM621-2D C/Ku???
