Birdog less sensitive than a STB?

When I use my birdog to align sats, it will for example get a signal with no lock, but yet when I check with the stb shows it has a signal and nearly perfect quality. Anyone with an idea whats happening?

Do you mean the "Found" and the sound? Sometimes the signal is received and only the ber graph shows signal strength on some sats such as 129w, possibly due to the transponder in the file of the sat is a weak signal not strong enough to trigger the "Found" software.

Thanks bkr, I'll try to update the files on the unit hopefully that should fix the issue.
