Dvr ?

hi guys,

I have cctv set up at my house since last 5 yrs. today i'm end up buying 3rd one.
Is there any place i can buy only dvr card for my stanadalone dvr box.not pci card i'm sure it's lot cheaper dvr card than new dvr box.

any help will be appreciate.

There are 4 input (RCA) cards that I have seen used on Linux boxes. Some of the software has a motion controlled option that can send alarms and save on recordings.

If you have USB cameras, you can even use VLC to work as a recorder.

Maybe look at RCA to USB adapters.
