I have a Limesat FTA with a USB and an LCD HDTV with a USB in the Sevice Port area. Can I connect the two USBs, rather than using the RCA cables. Would it work? If it would what should I click the remote input to?
Thanks

No, do not hook up like that unless you have good fire insurance cause you are gonna fry your tv and or stb those usb ports are for service techs only for updates and such use composite cables(green, blue, red) for best picture then you will also need rca cable for your audio this could go to a stereo or directly into tv on the same row as composite cable....

As the previous poster pointed out, you can't use the USB ports as a video connection. You'll need to use either composite video (yellow-red-white RCA jacks) or component video (green/red/blue, plus red/white audio) to connect your receiver to your TV.

Some new TVs allow you to connect a flash drive or an external hard drive to view pictures and videos... Have to check the manual to be sure though.
