This is tested on Windows XP but will also work on Vista & 7.

1. Download RTMP Streaming US.zip the zip contains flv.exe, rtmpdump.exe & US.bat.

2. Extract those 3 files into your VLC folder using winrar, winzip, 7zip etc...
Code:

C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC



3. Right click on US.bat and choose Send To --> Desktop (create shortcut).

4. Now on your Desktop you will have a new shortcut to US.bat...

Right click it and rename it anything you like i named mine US TV.

5. Right click it again and choose Properties and click the button Change Icon...


A new message box pops up and click Ok...


6. Now its up to you to pick a new icon from either the System icons or pick your own using the Browse... button. I picked my own from Here because i find the System icons boring.


For System icon pick icon --> Ok --> Apply --> Ok.
For own icon Browse --> Open --> Ok --> Apply --> Ok.

7. Double click your new icon on your Desktop...

Then enter the #of channel and hit enter , it will open up on VLC player and yes some may not work at the time, most do....

A note about this:



C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC


Some systems use C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC

For those like this, move the VideoLAN\VLC folder out of Program Files (x86) to Program Files.

Hope this helps those who try this.

Here is the latest fta pc emulator its
not as fancy as the pc box but does
the same thing.With the links that
are in the fta pc emulator you can
use them to upgrade the pc box.
The channels are a little sparse
lately and dont stay up for long.
Not really sure if the admin here
would like me to post this file here
we`ll leave that up to them if they
want to remove it.

pcbox doesnt get updated very often your better off with the pc emu,
rtmpGUI,rtmpGUI with futubox and simple tv.

I should add if you like the pc box interface you can edit/update
it with the rtmp stream links that are in all the other programs.

i finally got around to make this a install added a new feature that lets the end user edit the channel list by simpley double clicking the channel in the list on app to remove dead streams and also added feature so end user can update the list with a new channel you may want to watch by simply clicking the add channel at top of app if you are able to understand how to edit bat file content then you should have no problems updateing or adding new channels to the list, with little help from url snooper gonna add some other kewl features on next update ! give it a go and give me some feed back on what you guys think

for windows 7 32 bit os put the file in System32 folder

for windows 7 64 bit os put the file in SysWOW64 folder

ok what you need to do is run cmd promt as admin by rigth clicking cmd and run as admin then type this in and the name of the file you downloaded

for windows 7 32 bit os>>> regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\comct32.ocx Hit enter

FOR 64 BIT OS ITLL BE >>> regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\comct32.ocx Hit enter

same thing goes for missing msinet.ocx error just repeat above steps for it

thanks vann for all your help ,what I did was copy vlc 2.0 that I had already installed on my computer and paste it from program file x86 to program fle and works fine , the only thing is some channels dont work but maybe with the next update right......:D

instead of making a line for each part of the channel link
i think it would be easier if it was just one line for the entire
link it would save a lot of time and cut and pasting.Not
complaining just trying to save time on updating.

yup true that may rework the code3ing to do that the less time taken =good only reason i did it like that is for the ones that dont know the ends and out of the rtmp protocal but will add option to do it in 1 line and multiple line already pre coded in for the newer peps like -w -p and so on

Yeah it works with xp you may run into a few errors
along the way make sure your vlc is in the proper place.
The biggest problem with these streaming programs
is keeping them updated there are ppl that are dedicated
to these programs and keep them updated on a regular basis
or you can update them yourself to suit your needs.You can
update with programs like URLsnooper, Coojah and Wireshark
these will search out the rtmp,mms etc. stream links.There
are a few good places to find channel links like
Shadownet.ro
here you can get many of the ilive channels. There are many tricks you can
learn along the way.Most dont understand that these channels are being streamed
by ppl like me and you one guy may stream hbo for a few hours and be gone the next
hour this is when you have a that channel not working in the program.If you want to
stream channels there are many free programs that will allow you to do it flashmedia
player with a screen capture program i sometimes use my Nfusion Nova as a capture device.

it has a record feature when you record
a channel it will show in the Rec folder

I have regular updates for these emu programs but their
not allowed here anymore they have been considered warez
programs.There are so many scripts out there now that
will get you by the adds, spam, premium\pay services and
"download this" that carry hq and hd streams but veetle
is still my fav for movies if you can find the "veetle to vlc"
script that will get you past the download veetle chit
and the 30 second adds.
