OK - I record Magnum P.I. every night and now I think it's Police Story? I went to RTV site and their program pdf won't load (Page can not be found 404 error). :noidea:

They had the new schedule up a week or so ago. Everything is changed around. During the week M-F Central time:
12:00 - Bill Cosby Show
12:30 - New Zorro
1:00 - Movin' On
2:00 - Naked City
3:00 - Route 66
4:00 - I Spy
5:00 - Daniel Boone
6:00 - Daniel Boone
7:00 - Starsky & Hutch
8:00 - Police Story
9:00 - The Saint
10:00 - Da Vinci's Inquest
11:00 - Cold Case Files
12:00 - Cold Squad:
On Sat and Sun, no more It Takes a Thief. And Sun, no more Jack Benny, Alfred Hitchcock, and Ellery Queen. Blah...
Well, I don't like it...
They actually announced this back about a month ago & I was not too happy when I read it. I wish I would have recorded a bunch of Magnum & Air Wolf

I can understand them altering the schedule, but I don't have to like it. Some channels keep shows rerunning beyond tolerance. Like TNT and their endless cycle of Angel and Charmed repeats in the mornings.

I'm picking up over 65 RTV channels on Amc 3, I'm sure that some of the programming on one of those channels could be more accomodating. Those are s2 channels though.
For right now I just have a CS5000 hooked up to the new BUD at my dad's. He is the big RTV nut. 79 years old with advanced Alzheimer's, I guess he's entitled to watch what he wants...LOL
Anyway back at the house my S9 can't pick up the RTV S2 signals. It really left me scratching my head.
3800 H 29125 never came in
4080 H 29125 scanned in once & my dad had some good programming for that day & has never come back.
I come to read on other boards that some people experience trouble with S2 signals on the Openbox, especially the one's on AMC 3. I guess it's an openbox anomaly
The RTV on AMC 7, I can't find either, but there is one channel on Anik F3 3920 H 18447 which comes in fine. it is a DVB-S
We all like to watch Huntington Beach on AMC 1:thumbsup:
I usually turn it on while my dad eats his ice cream at night

Hear hear. I don't even bother watching Ion channels on weeknights anymore

3800 will scan in on a blind scan but no signal on my openbox, the azbox opens both tp. There sometimes is a slight bit of pixelation on some s2 channels and feeds with the openbox. I can't understand how tp 4080 is not open for you Gold.
10785
It's funny from what I read, every one who has trouble with RTV on AMC 3 complains about Montana PBS on AMC 21. I get nothing on that TP either. I will probably replace it with a different DVB-S2 box

can't go wrong with an azbox or the new Manhattan receiver which is going to be released any day now.

Hum don't think that AnikF3 ch is RTV--from Cheyenne WY it is mainly MeTV with evening shows from one of the other M-TV networks, like RTV but diff programs. I like Perry Mason on it. Don't like the I love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore or Lavern and Shirley stuff but do like the Dick Van Dyck show sometimes. Fickle, Eh?

I taped perry mason when it was on the old rtn 123w and caught the episode where he lost the case.
Back then all the rtn channels had identical programming, just staggered times. So if you missed the beginning of a show you could change channels and find it on again an hour or two later.

You might be right. It's been a while since I watched much TV...Come to think of it I think the RTV affiliate was out of LA Calif & was on G23

RTV uses the national schedule for all its affiliates now. The only changes would be if the affiliate decides to preempt programming. I did discover the reason for the change. RTV's deal with Universal Pictures expired on June 26th. :) The other addition to the schedule on Monday, July 4 will be Highway to Heaven at 6PM.
