xbox 360 E 74 problel

E 74 problem/ it will play dvd but want play a game, when you put the game in you get
this on the tv/ to play this disc, put it in an xbox 360 console.
anybody seen this problem, if so how can i fix it.
i have fixed lots of red ring problems and open tray problems but not this problem and
i have 3 at this time with this same problem.

could be your a/v cable, hana ic on the 360 mobo or its the gpu causing the issue, best way i repair them is to reball the gpu and hana ic with lead remove those cheap x clamps m$ puts in and reattach heatsink with machine screws.
and put something inder the gpu that won't conduct voltage and can handle heat this will keep the mainboard from wapring, i have also install the tr-360 heatsink made by thermaltake, and gpu temp runs alot cooler

If you have a flashed (modded)xbox360.......

abgx360 has updated there AP25 database and now only supports the new dashboard , which if installed will flash your drive back to factory. The new LT firmware is out @ 1.9 to work with the new dash and ap25 challenges.... So there is a procedure of reverting the Xbox drive back to factory and then update your dashboard, then flash to LT 1.9, then all games will play. I know because i just did one.
Is it possible that you updated the dash and now your drive is flashed back to factory firmware? because that’s what it sounds like.

found the problem,under the mother board where the av cable plugs in, bad factory solder at pin 29,27 and pin 11 resolder
these pins and now it works fine, i had 4 of the 360 with the same problem and i have now repaired 3 of them at this time.
hope this helps someone else with this problem.
