When dish is working properly this is what I recommend you check

1. Make sure all connections are tight.
2. Silicone all connections and tape.

3. For rain fade he is a simple solution and cheap solution. On a clear day spray your dish with Pam spray. This will put a film over the dish so rain and snow will fall right off

I tried the Pam thing on a couple of dishes and it caused a sticky residue that caused all kinds of stuff to stick to th edish; dirt, leaves, and snow included.
I've used Jiga loob on mine ever since and it works awesome.

I use an umbrella when it rains. LOL

When there is snow build up the good reliable broom does the job. For those with motorised actuators, a good time to grease up the shaft of the arm for winter- I like to use white lithium super grease.
