The good news is that you will be watching Boxing this Saturday. HBO will broadcast the AMIR KHAN Vs. ZAB JUDAH fight that takes place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. It starts at 7 PM PST (10 EST).
After the Klitschko/Haye farce was followed by the Marquez/Ramos swan dive last Saturday, Boxing fans will not be turning off the TV after 47 seconds like they did last Saturday. There should be a law against false advertising and misrepresentation in Boxing. In business, you will be prosecuted for selling share or securities based on false premises!
But there is light at the end of the boxing dark tunnel. There are some strong sentiments against Amir Khan, right at this forum. That is understandable. He has the looks that cause chicks everywhere to salivate and the charisma that makes them falsify their date of birth. Hollywood beckons. I would not be surprise at all if and when one day he hangs up his gloves and become one of the hottest Bollywood super stars. He has risen phenomenally since the shellacking from Breidis Prescott in under 80 seconds in 2008. Many still believe they could hang his chin on a chandelier. And our friend Rudee continues to bash him for lack of defense.
However, the little boy medalist from the 2004 Athens Olympics has grown up to be a man and has declared that he now can take care of himself - and the likes of Judah!
I personally think he could take care of Bradley....and Mayweather! Pacquiao? That I am not sure only because I believe they like each other. Besides, retirement looms large for the Congressman.
So folks, time to have "real fun" this time. Place your vote. Vote ends FRIDAY (I am listening to YOGI).
