Success! 110/119 works on my 91/97 setup! But 1 question :P

K so I had a 36" dish with 91 and 97 installed with 97 in the centre bracket. And so I bought 2 extra circular lnb's and 1 twin sircular lnb (the 118.7/119 lnb)

I took 1 of the circular lnb's and I started moving it up/down/left/right with my BirdDog satellite finder on 110, and geuss what? On the same dish I was able to get like 80+ signal!!

So I took the same lnb and I changed my BirdDog satellte finder to 119, and I moved little farther to right and I hit 90%+ signal! on the same dish

(Btw I got a 4lnb bracket holder on my way here, lol)

So I then took the twin lnb (the one that works for 118.7/119) And I tried to find 119 and I could not succeed with my BirdDog satellite finder, dunno why..... I then tried to find 110 with the twin lnb and I still cannot succed

Why can I find 110/119 with the circular lnb with 85% signal average, and not the twin lnb?

You have to have dish pro twin or legacy is this what you are using to find 110/119.The special only gets 118/119 only reason i can think unless your settings are wrong.

not sure but if using birdog and an lnb for both 118/119 would the lnb setting need to be changed to 10750 from 11250 like you would in your receiver antenna settings, just a thought...

But I am able to put the connection from the birddog into my linear 97 lnb and I am able to pick it up, just not able to pick it up with the 118.7/119 twin lnb
