Hi! I am looking for info if 1 meter dish will work on moteck sg2100?

That motor is rated for dishes up to 1.2m, but 1m is the biggest I would go with it.

What brand/model of dish are you considering? You need to make sure that the dish mount is the proper size for the motor shaft, they're all different.

***If you're looking at a fiberglass dish such as an Andrew/Channel master, Prodelin, Primestar; they're too heavy for the SG2100. Steel dishes are fine though.

The sg2100 works great with, as Satchick stated above, up to 1.2 M with no problems.

Do you already have the SG2100 motor? If not, I'd recommend a DG380 or STAB HH120 instead, both of those motors use all metal gears, whereas the SG2100 and it's clones use plastic/nylon gears. I've...

There are lots of parts, actuators and lnb assy's available for the 6' mesh dish here;

The actuator arm should still be good, you'll just want to give it a good coat of white lithium grease. You will also need to get a G-Box positioner to control the actuator. Most people use a DMX-741 LNBF, since it works with all FTA receivers...

Also on that 6 foot mesh dish, make sure that the mesh size is not too big or it wont work too good for "Ku" band.

Take a standard lead pencil and see if it will fit through the mesh of the dish (with out forcing it) if it does then its too big.

And I use the 1 meter Winegard dish with the SG2100 motor, I love it works great.

I'm pretty sure the cheaper dishes at Skyvision do not have polar mounts.
If your looking for BUD's I like to visit Craigslist. If your looking for offset dishes & going back to your original post there are a few good places like (satelliteav.com, galaxy-marketing.com, & sadoun.com ) I have dealt with all these places & they all seem like honest companies. I have also dealt with Skyvision & they are topnotch too.

Satellite AV has what looks to be the best offset dishes, while the other two market the cheaper side of the hobby.

Hmm, now you are talking a different subject. A 6' dish like mentioned in this thread is know as a "Prime Focus" They are not the best for catching Ku Signals...They work & they work fine, but you would be better off with what's known as an "Offset Dish" & go back to a 39"...A motorized 39" Offset dish will do far better with Ku & especially the sats you mentioned the a 10' Prime Focus....

I don't know where you're at exactly, but parts of Canada like Edmonton, you would be better off with a 1.2m Offset. I have a good bud in Saskatoon & a 39" does great

It is not a special HD lnb it is just a standard circular Ku band lnb that is needed. All the places listed above carry this type lnb adaptable for the dish. Again make sure you heed the info Terryl mentioned about the mesh size.

I wouldn't bother, just use a small dish for those, keep the 6-footer for C and Ku band true FTA.
