Ok guys im going crazy here abd i bet you itll be something simple.lol

ok first off i have a Openbox s10 HD box

i have both of these dishes with there LNBs..

DN Turbo HD with the 1000.2 lnb

DN Super with the Dual Band ( 118, 119) and one LNB on the Right of it i suppose for the 110?
heres a pic

http://www.abestwholesaler.com/dish-500-plus-satellite-antenna-lnb-complete.htmlThe problem is i cant even get "Signal Intensity " over 45% on both LNBs? I heard i need a diseqc 4x1 switch to bypass the internal switch on the 1000.2...which i tried and still 45% so then i read and a lot of ppl said its you Antenna settings? so i tried MANY settings but still nothing..i even went to a local electronics store that deals with dishes and FTA's and it picked up the satellites fine..?? And i tried the DN super and same thing only 45%? IM thinking either that switch is bad that i bought? i have a feeling the LNBS are not RECEIEVING enough power?? I heard i need a dp34 switch with the DN plus dual lnb to get it working? PLEASE GUYS HELP ME OUT!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

The LNB on the right is for 129W, the signals cross over on the dish, the 110 LNB is part of the big one, looking at the LNB from the back of the dish it would be 110 on the left, 118/119 in the center and the separate one on the right is 129.

The 1000.2 LNB is a power hog, you will need one of several tings to power it right, one is an old Dish receiver, or a DPP44 power inserter, or a DPP44 switch, last would be a receiver that can put out over 600 mA on the LNB output.

You can use the DPP44 power inserter but it has to be on its own coax run to the #1 port on the 1000.2 LNB, the receiver can go to one of the other LNB ports except for the last one (the one by it's self) that is an LNB input.

Now to find the birds use TP 12224 for 110, TP 12297 for 119, TP 12516 for 129, and any of the TP's listed for 118 will work.

I do have a old dish reciever..I'll try that..so how about the dish pro (Big LNB) does that need extra power?? Because if not then why doesnt it get over 45% intensity??

Actually I just looked at the back and it says 400Ma max so I guess I need another old reciever..lol

OK looking at the DC current output of that receiver I would say so, you will need at least 600 mA, an old Dish 311 receiver will supply 750 mA, that will work fine.

And port #1 on the big LNB will always be the DC power input.

Is there another alternative? Like diff dish? And is there one that get 97w and 110,118,119?? What dove think about the Invacom 031 quad LNB? I heard that's the best?

Openbox does not support DishPro or DishPro Plus LNBs. You need to use Legacy/Standard LNBs, for 118/119 you will need a special low frequency circular polarity LNB. As to switching, the Openbox S10 does NOT support Legacy switching (SW21) as well.

That LNB and a 33" dish with a motor will get you all the satellites viewable from your location.

And there you have it.
