Was the receiver powered off/unplugged every time you connected or disconnected the switches?

Just so you know, the 2.0 is compatible with all FTA receivers and most receivers come with them. :)

The diagram shows the compatibility for some receivers. Id like to know who is using 2.0 diseqc switches with the vs 9000hd and witch one.

If you look on page 40 of your users guide it shows Diseqc 1 and 1.1 compatibility, and unless there has been an update to the factory file, then there is no Diseqc 2.0 switch support on this model.
If you don't have a manual you can find one here.

Look at your Diseqc 1.1 settings, there you should be able to setup to use up to 16 ports, the 2.0 switch should respond to the 1.1 commands.

Are your switches grounded ? Is your dish system grounded ? If they are not, your problem may not be the switches, it may be a problem with the lack of grounding. Your LNBs could be "stuck" and grounding your switches, cables, and dish to an earth ground can prevent or fix problems/issues with switching.

Look again. It shows compatibility with all receivers. You won't be able to use the 2.0 capability on all receivers, but the standard for 2.0 is backwards compatible.

Why did you replace the old switches??? If it was because they got waterlogged, your cable is probably also coroded..
