VANCOUVER — The riots that swept across London and other British cities this week already have resulted in more than 1,700 arrests, with some rioters already convicted...

swift justice indeed, and rightly so. on guy who looted a case of bottle water. got 6 months in jail...perfect...an Edmonton girl who was in london and was part of the looters, returned a tv she stole, as he concience bothered her....too late girl, you were part of the problem, and no doubt you will get a sentence in the big house.....and yes nothing in Vancouver re court cases, we are so behind......convict the rioters and send them to jail.................................W/H

Well take them all to the place they ruined, let them clean up the mess, re-build and make good all the damage they cause, thats better then putting them in jail.

not good enough, they clean up then they can do it again........give them the punishment to fit the crime......what you suggest does not cover the fear and hardship they caused..............
