While doing a Q&A with his fans via Twitter, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson discussed his goals for his return to WWE. Here are the highlights…

"A few years ago when Cena - inexplicably - started talking trash publicly, I knew then I could turn this into a massive main event. One that could elevate the WWE to unprecedented heights. The timing had to be right though. Wrestlemania 27: for me and the fans - the time was right. The build to Wrestlemania 28 will be like nothing the world has ever seen before. The match itself will be historic. I didn't come back to the WWE to become champion again. I came back for these reasons: entertain the fans like no-one else can. Elevate the WWE to new heights never seen before. Challenge and mentor some of the younger talent. Give the millions what they want which is to kick John Cena's f'n ass."

For a guy that says he is the greatest wrestler and calls WWE, home..................nope..................do not say it untill your doing it.............and then to get a gig of main eventing WrestleMania when others have been wrestling all year................no way man.........sorry............but ............jmo

when the rock wrestled, wrestling was great, now its just good. in all seriousness, i just think guys like rock and austin earned the right to walk in and main event any show whenever they want. i aint the only one that feels that way. do you hear the fans when austin or rock hit the stage? its crazy. yeah, the guys who are there every day deserve the title shots but rock aint after the title and to be honest, i dont think cena will have the title at mania. gotta have a title match at mania.

Like you said, wrestling is good now..................but years ago, it was Flair and Hogan that made Wrestling.................not Austin or Dwayne Johnson, remember he dropped "The Rock" legally, so why is he still allowed to use it????????????????????????????????

ok, we all have our opinions. flair and hogan...man, i remember being a young teenager maybe 14, it was around 1988 and i couldn't wait for saturday to watch wrestling. if i couldn't be home i recorded it. a buddy of mine from school had one of those big 'ol dishes and got the ppv's for free and i spend the night there to watch summer slam and mania and the wcw events. that was great, hogan and worrior, jake roberts, macho man, rick rude...flair, luger, sting, the horsemen...that was what made wrestling.
as good as that was, i like the attitude era better. might just be the age i was at but it is what it is.
my favorite time in wrestling was rock, austin, DX (the whole DX).
