paypal ...... issues

My wife and I both have our own accounts with paypal , but we now have a joint bank account, I have been selling on fleabay , and getting payments to my paypal, but they won't let me touch my money cuz I am not "verified" and since my wife already has the account linked to her paypal, they won't let me link the same account to my paypal...I called paypal, and they said that we would have wait until all transactions are done on my wife's paypal account, then remove the bank from her account, link it to mine, and then send the money to my wife's paypal, and then close my paypal and add the email to her account ......just sounds like a pain in the rear.....They should allow joint accounts to husband and wife's , many ppl share banks ....

They can be unreal and inflexible. It's a strong argument on why monopolies are bad. They wouldn't allow me access to my account because I just had my first two initials and my last name on it. It had been that way for over 10 years. The bank accounts it links to just have initials on them too. Good enough for the bank, but not for them. When I told them that it was good enough for an FDIC insured bank, they said "We aren't a bank." Why they aren't driven out of business by another payment service is beyond me.

I called them again this morning, the bank said that all transactions are completed from my wife's paypal account, and paypal said that I still have to wait for 2 more business days, even though all transactions have been completed......
