Tuner problem i think

I am using a sv8000 hd receiver. for some reason all my local ota hd channels come in great except for one . (global tv). The percentage is 90 % and still it freezes and stuters.Does this mean i have a tuner problem? I am using an amped hd antenna . LAVA HD2805 Amplified Outdoor HDTV

Try and rf attenuator it should resolve the freezing ,I had the same problem on NF off air on ch 3 strong signal freezing i have add 5 db attenuator they are the same attenuator that commes with dish or bev uhf receiver antenna

Good tip. Suggestions on where to find this device, especially if it is adjustable.

no it is not adjustable at rat shack
and also if you know anyone who bought a uhf bev receiver it comes with it most people don't use for their antenna or what you can do use rf like 25 feet with a tie rap it will do the same thing.it will attenuate your signal or add a splitter .
