- WWE announced Friday that former World Heavyweight Champion Edge will appear on next week's episode of SmackDown, which emanates from Toronto.
WWE.com's synopsis reads: "For the first time since retiring from WWE, Edge comes home to SmackDown as the special guest Superstar. What does The Rated-R Superstar have in store for the WWE Universe this Friday night?"
- WWE has a RAW live event scheduled for Thursday, December 29 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The on-sale date for tickets has not been announced.
