hello am installing a c /ku band dish my question is. my dish is 180 centimeter want to know what is the setting should be for the c band signal and the ku signal on my receiver what receiver is the best for c band on fta receiver with a gbox remote for now am using a sonicview 8000 hd but i have a c band receiver motorolla dtv922 is there any diffrence with the motorolla and the sonicview 8000 hd if you can please answer my question i be glad i do have other fta receiver sat z 500 i link 9500 and sonicview 360p and many other ones please give me some good answer thank you

Probably the best receiver you list is the SV8000 or the SV360
The dtv922 ( I think you mean a DSR-922) is for subscribing to C Band programming, but honestly your dish is a little to small
The SV8000 will pick up a few MPEG 2 channels, but probably not many worth watching.
I would try the 360p & slave the SV8000. The 360p is a pretty good SD receiver.
Personally I wouldn't use the other two for True FTA

Yes, there are several TP's you can pick up in N.A.

Any on this list with the letter F, and where the beam that say "America" you can get...

Your dish however will be a little too small for some

amazonas is at 61.0W and i get amazonas C band and ku band with my 7 1/2 bud and i am in the south east US.

You might have issues with dish size for c band on Amazonas but no problemo on ku band.
