Hulk Hogan Set to Fight Longtime Rival Sting at "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View Event on October 16

TNA Wrestling's biggest pay-per-view event of the year "Bound For Glory" to feature all of the stars of SPIKE TV's "IMPACT WRESTLING" live from Philadelphia

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- TNA Wrestling's biggest pay-per-view event of the year, "Bound For Glory," presented by Direct Auto Insurance, will have two of the biggest superstars in the history of professional wrestling, "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan and "The Icon" Sting, in a No Disqualification fight for power and survival in TNA IMPACT WRESTLING.

"Bound For Glory" will be held live at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Penn. on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 starting at 8 p.m. ET and airing worldwide exclusively on pay-per-view, select theaters nationwide and online in HD at TNAOnDemand.com.

In January 2009, Hogan debuted in TNA with tremendous fanfare, but in a shocking turn of events took the company from exiled TNA President Dixie Carter. Sting has made it his mission to strip power away from Hogan and Eric Bischoff and return TNA to Dixie Carter and the fans. After defeating Ric Flair on the September 15th airing of IMPACT WRESTLING, Sting now has earned the right to fight Hogan at "TNA's Bound For Glory."

Regarded as the biggest superstar in the history of professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan is a multi-time World Heavyweight Champion and a worldwide pop culture celebrity. Hogan has transcended the sport of wrestling - including television and movies - as a generation of Americans grew up as fans of "Hulkamania". Hogan continues to be a major force in the sport he helped bring to the pinnacle of popularity.

One of the most popular superstars in professional wrestling for two decades, Sting has been a multi-time World Heavyweight Champion with every organization he has wrestled for around the world. His charisma and amazing career have truly made him a global phenomenon. Sting is constantly evolving, both as a superstar and personality, making him a true wrestling icon as he continues to dominate the sport.

The superstars of SPIKE's "IMPACT WRESTLING" will headline "Bound For Glory," including "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan, "The Icon" Sting, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett, "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy, "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe, the lovely and lethal TNA Knockouts, the stars of the X-Division and many more. "Bound For Glory 2011" will also feature Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

To order "Bound For Glory" on pay-per-view check your local listings or call your local cable provider.

Tickets for "Bound For Glory" are on sale now at the Liacouras Center box office and www.Comcasttix.com . Tickets start at only $15.
