Rogers adds History TV HD and MovieTime to its lineup

Canwest Broadcasting announced today that History Television HD and MovieTime in standard definition are now available on Rogers Digital Cable.
MovieTime SD is available on channel 86 while History Television HD airs on channel 561.
According to CanWest, History Television HD airs over 100 hours per week of native high definition content including 90% of its primetime programming. Shows in HD include such series as Ice Road Truckers, Battles BC, Life After People, Cities of the Underworld, Ultimate Engineering, Outlaw Bikers and the upcoming Canwest history series, Ice Pilots NWT. The station will also air movies such as Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, The Scorpion King and Braveheart in high def.
MovieTime, which as the name implies, is a commercial television station which airs about 250 movies per month. The station was launched in Canada in October 2008.
