Manny Pacquiao News: “I Injected Pacquiao With Steroids” says former sparring partner!

The Shadow
One of Filipino boxing (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518125#) superstar Manny Pacquiao’s former sparring partners has admitted that he regularly injected the fighter with steroids “in the lockerroom (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518125#), in the upper outer quarter of his butt cheek!”
The man (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518125#), a Filipino and former pro fighter, now fears the wrath of millions of his fellow countrymen, and as a result, his identity is protected. He claims to have worked with Pacquiao from “his early years” up until Pacquiao’s 2010 fight with Miguel Cotto, and claims Pacman only began using steroids in anticipation of his 2009 fight with Oscar De La Hoya.

He also claims that Pacquiao has switched from using steroids, to now using a complex mixture of HGH (human growth hormone) and insulin, a combination that is virtually undetectable in post fight drug tests.
In an interview given in a top secret location in Las Vegas, the former Pacquiao associate said “Manny was curious about using steroids for many years before he actually started. There is a lot of steroid use in the Philippines, and they are easy to get. But Manny hates needles! He hates ‘em.”

“Manny was already on the way to becoming one of boxing’s greats when he got the call from De La Hoya and his people about a fight. Oscar wanted a rematch with Mayweather, buy Mayweather decided to retire (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518125#). Someone came up with the idea for De La Hoya and Manny as a potential big fight. When I heard about it, I thought it was the dumbest thing I had ever heard.”

By the time De La Hoya came calling, Manny Pacquiao was already a twelve year veteran with a 47-3-2 record, and world titles at flyweight, super bantamweight, super featherweight and lightweight. He had been knocked cold twice as a flyweight in the 90′s, and also lost on points to Erik Morales in a bout at super featherweight in 2005, Pacquiao’s last defeat. Pacman had come out on top in grueling rivalries with Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manual Marquez.

In March 2008 he defeated Marquez for the WBC super featherweight title via a split decision, and three months later he battered David Diaz to defeat in nine rounds for the WBC lightweight title. From world flyweight champion to world title holder at lightweight in nine years is both an incredible and unequaled achievement, and also feasible and believable, considering Pacquiao’s speed, southpaw boxing ability and punching power. His sudden leap in 2008 to welterweight, and subsequently beyond, and his complete mastery of much bigger fighters, had opened the door to debate as to whether the Filipino may be using performance enhancing drugs.

“Manny knew there was no way he could beat Oscar. But there was also no way he was gonna pass up the biggest fight, the biggest opportunity of his life. This was it, the big time.” said his former sparring partner.
“Manny never looked at using drugs as cheating. It was just a way of evening things up a little. Oscar was naturally much bigger and stronger than Manny. Of course, on the night we were all shocked. He beat the living crap out of De La Hoya.”

Just seven months earlier De La Hoya had cruised to a win over contender Steve Forbes, Prior to that, in May 2007, he had come closer that anyone before to beating Floyd Mayweather Jr. Although 35, De La Hoya was a massive favorite to defeat Pacquiao. Instead his corner pulled him out after suffering a one sided pummeling for eight rounds.

“After the fight, everyone was going crazy for Manny. We who were in the know about the steroids were just looking at each other holding our breath and hoping no one would start wondering how that could have happened.”
The sparring partner says he began regularly injecting Pacquiao with steroids in preparation for his subsequent fights with Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto.

“Once a week, right in the locker room of the Wild Card (Gym (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518125#)). Manny would drop his shorts and clench his teeth, and I would give him a jab in the upper outer quarter of his butt cheek. He hated every shot.”
The contact also said that Pacquiao’s drugs were changed from regular steroids to a far less detectable combination of HGH and insulin after Floyd Mayweather began pointing the finger and making suggestions that Pacquiao’s almost super human ring achievements may not be all down to natural ability.

“They got spooked when Floyd rumbled ‘em.” said the contact. “That whole thing with the pre fight blood test during the negotiations for a Pacquiao v Mayweather fight last year was because Manny and his team knew they needed one month prior to the fight to guarantee 100% that they would be clean in all tests.”

Old news my friend, none of them would have passed a drug test. It wasn't even required. Oscar took Millie's piss in a glass and Pacquiao did the same. To much money involved. Everything started to get hot after the Mayweather Team started the "rumor", they took forced vacations and decided to sue, besides declaring to stop growing by staying in the 147 weight class and not fighting Sergio Martinez cause he is to BIG. Now they have a new guinea pig to experiment with, Amir Khan, you've seen how big he's getting in such of short time. He looks like St Pierre the Canadian UFC fighter who Nick Diaz wants now. They call Khan The Ariza Project. hehehehe.

Pacquiao’s Sparring Partner Confirms Pacman is Not on Steroids

Published by SteroidSources.com at 11:42 pm under Boxing and Steroids

Shane Mosley tweeted steroid story on Manny Pacquiao, sparring partner Mayfield denied Pacman is on steroids Pacman haters will not stop hitting the 8-division world boxing champion whatever it takes. If they can’t beat Pacquiao in the ring, they will do everything to destroy his reputation. A recent article published by an anonymous writer created a buzz in the boxing world because of a renewed allegation that Pacquiao used anabolic steroids before his fight against Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. Boxing writers ignored this but many reacted when Sugar Shane Mosley picked up the story and blast it on his twitter account.

Mosley, a Bitter Loser?

Shane Mosley lost to Manny Pacquiao in a lopsided fight. Analysts say that Mosley changed his fight plan when he was sent to the floor on the third round. He knew Pacquiao can knock him down. A thing he must avoid because of his untainted record for not succumbing to an opponent by a TKO. But for boxing fans, he should have fulfilled his promise of giving them a good fight.

And recently, Mosley made another mistake when he tweeted the alleged use of steroids by the Pacman. Based on online sources, the information was sent to Mosley by Bella Rodriguez, his Latina girlfriend. The author of the article claimed that a former Filipino sparring partner of the Pacman confided to him that the latter was injected with steroids and HGH. This happened before his fight against Hatton where Pacquiao knocked down the British boxing star in the early round.

Mosley might have discerned that it is not the right thing to do. He later tried to distance himself from the issue. In his latest tweet, Mosley said that he never wrote or said Pacquiao was on anything. “I said the better man won the night.”

Steroid Story Not True

The Pacquiao camp shrugs off this latest accusation against the pound for pound king. Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser, told the media that the story is totally absurd and they will not respond to it. “If you can show me a Filipino sparring partner we had, then it put some credence to the story but we’ve never had one,” he said. Pacquiao’s chief of staff also reiterated that Pacquiao never had a Filipino sparring partner when he started fighting in the United States. Jake Joson told a local media in the Philippines that they already informed Bob Arum about this issue and consulted their lawyers about any possible action against the author of the story.

Joson assured the public that Pacquiao never took any banned substances. The boxer only relied on vitamins and legal food supplements. According to Joson, Pacquiao won his titles fair and square. Those power punches are natural and not the result of taking performance enhancing drugs like the relentless accusation of his rivals.

When Pacquiao was asked by the media after he arrived in the Philippines, he just smiled and said that the new allegation is not true.

Drug Test Results Clean

Meanwhile, the Nevada State Athletic Commission already released the drug test results of the two fighters. Both fighters were clean of any substance of abuse according to the statement released by Keith Kizer, the executive director of NSAC.

Sparring Partner’s Own Story

The sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao in his last training defended Pacquiao. In the interview of Chris Robinson of the Boxing Examiner, Karim Mayfield confirms Pacquiao is not on steroids. Mayfield is the sparring partner of Pacquiao during his training in the Pacquiao-Mosley fight. “I can’t judge any of his prior fights but I’m sure, almost 100% sure, that the man couldn’t have been on steroids,” Mayfield told Robinson.

“I’ve never seen no superman stuff out of him that would indicate he was on steroids. Yes, he was faster than other guys I sparred with but it wasn’t super blazing and he did have power but it wasn’t like no super power,” he added.

Mayfield confided to Robinson that Pacquaio is just like any other fighter who is also suffering from fatigue. “I definitely saw several bad days where he was tired from sparring, you know what I mean? I don’t even see how steroids could be attached to him,” he said. As regards to the fight, Mayfield blamed Mosley for not giving the fans a good fight.
