Take the cap off of your lnbf and you'll see 2 lines on the interior part of it. Slide the plate in there. The screw is for tightening and securing your lnbf on the bracket holder. When your skewing your lnbf to reach maximum signal quality, you tighten the screw when that has been achieved- screw fits in the side of the scalar ring.

It shouldn't be loose at all, it should fit in tight. Just curious as to why you want circular polarity, maybe a sat on the Atlantic side? Even though I'm using a linear lnbf, I can still scan in most circular tp during a scan or manually.

First of all, remove the plate from the lnbf, it's linear sats you need to aim for. I don't quite understand what you mean by your arm to the polar mount. If your dish is prime focus then your arms do not connect to the polar mount but the dish. You need to find your true south sat and find a tp on lyngsat. You should start by skewing your lnbf to see if you can get signal quality. Once you do get some signal quality you may have to nudge your dish or even play around with the elevation.
