Watch the big "Near Miss" as an asteroid the size of 3 to 4 football fields zooms by between the Earth and the Moon.
Look here for a live feed.

Had it hit us it would have been close to an ELE, and we wouldn't have to worry about going to work tomorrow.

At 30, 000 MPH and the size it is not much, it would have left a big big hole somewhere.

The scarey thing is that the Earth gave it a gravitational tug (towards the Earth) then the Moon will maybe give it a tug, so the orbit was changed, what will happen next time it comes by??? If it does.

like that old commercial for beef, the guy sees an asteroid heading for earth and he rushes out for a steak to bbq for his last meal.He is eating and the thing hits right next to him,it's the size of a charcoal briquette by the time it hits.
