Hi,

I was looking for a dish installation and I found a guy in kijji and talked with him. He said he will install a 30" dish with 1lnb to get both international and english channels. Also he said he will point a dish in a common angle to get both channels. I am not sure what he says is valid because as far I know International channels are mostly from 118 and english channels are form 110. Can you let me know what he says is valid or not?

Thanks,
Suhman

A low band circular lnb will be required to view both.

The lnb is commonly called the 119/118 lnb. It will pick up 119 and 118 at the same location using the 10750 lnb frequency. 118 is actually at 118.7 which is slightly to the side of 119, but 3/10's of a degree isn't much even at that distance.

He was probably talking about 118 and 119W.
