I have a 1000.2 DP dish which has a triple lnb, an internal switch and three outputs with a line in port. I want to add 2 new lnbs for 82 and 91. I only intend on having one receiver. I saw a diagram where I can use the line in port and a 22khz switch. Dumb old me, I didn't save it. I have searched for it and can't find it again. I did order an ecoda switch as I read they will pass through Diseq signals. I hope that I don't need to go out and spend more cash on a Dpp44 switch. I have done a lot of reading but I still have some questions:

1. Does the internal switch in the 1000.2 lnb treat the line in as diseq 4?
2. Can I just run the 22khz switch into the line in port and have the tow lnbs feed into it with no diseq settings? One 22khz on and the other off.
3. What is the difference between the HD Dpp lnb (blue connectors) and a regular Dpp one?
4. What frequency do I use to setup all of the Lnbs?
5. Why does my Limesat HD Max show 95% S and Q no matter where I point the dish? It makes it useless for pointing. (Yes I had foil on the two outside Lnbs)
6. Is the center lnb in the 1000.2 a dual type that will also pick up 118?
7. If the HD Max can't supply enough power can I input extra power to the lnbs by hooking up my old viewsat receiver to one of the other outputs?

Thanks in advance for your help.

3. What is the difference between the HD Dpp lnb (blue connectors) and a regular Dpp one? Basically none.
4. What frequency do I use to setup all of the Lnbs? 12297 = 119, 12516 = 129, 12224 = 110
5. Why does my Limesat HD Max show 95% S and Q no matter where I point the dish? It makes it useless for pointing. (Yes I had foil on the two outside Lnbs)

The answers are in red above. One thing isn't clear. If your intention is to simply add the lnbs to the existing dish, it will not work because you are talking 47 degrees of coverage. Was that your intention? I doubt the receiver will even support the three existing lnbs reliably.

I should have mentioned that I was adding a second dish.I guess I will need to splurge on a DPP44 Switch after all. Those DP LNBs must be real power hogs!

Thanks for this post and pic, very useful. How would this setup look like if one has 2 receivers? Meaning, how can I get 82 to both receivers since 91 would come through DP44. I'd like to connect 2 receiver through Port 1 and also allow power through such. Thanks for the help!
