i have my dish pointing to 118.8..

i seem to be getting 90+ for Q and S on most frequencies.. except 3...

For the 3 freq, the Q fluctuates between 55 and 75 which explains the occasional freezing on a few channels.

how can i fix Q for those 3 frequencies?

Tweak the dish ( this might degrade Q on other tps) or upgrading to a larger dish will do it.

i have a 30" dish..

i rotated the lnb.. it increased the quality.. for some reason the issue is down to one frequency.. 12124.. it is better now.. fluctuating from 75 to 85..

36" - 39" would make all the difference in the world.

a friend of mine has around 24" dish and he gets tp 12124 on 118.8 with no problem.. i dont know why i am getting this issue..

even now after couple hours, the quality has gone down to 70-75 by itself..

And what type (brand name) of LNB are you using for 118.8?

Also what type of coax are you using, (did you install it?) how long is the coax from the LNB to the receiver and are there any switches in line? (if so what type/brand)

Have you checked the connectors for corrosion or water?

Could be that that one TP is spot beam and you are on edge of it?

Reading the title of this thread---obtaining Q----I could not help but wonder: "Why do you want to capture Q? Who do you work for--what country? What type of spy are you?"
