Wondering if we can use our 4X1 switch (FTA) for a legit BEV receiver (high definition)?

Opps, looks like it put this thread in the wrong location, can someone move it to the switch discussions? Thanks.

The only ones I got to work were eagle aspens. They are approved for Dave tv so maybe that has something to do with it.

dieseqs are not recommended for bev equipment

4x1 diseqcs don't work with any subbed receivers(bev or dn)...Some dtv switches such as 3x4s will work with bev subs.

DiSEqC switches and 22KHz switches are NOT compatible with BEV receivers. BEV receivers will NOT recognize 22KHz or DiSEqC commands.

3x4 or 3x8 multiswitches work quite well with BEV LNBs and receivers, however 4x4 multiswitches do NOT as they contain a 22KHz tone for switching(only 1 side will work). The 4x4 is not to be confused with the SW44 switch which works with BEV equipment. Remember, though, the SW44 switch is NOT compatible with most FTA receivers. SW21 switches work with both FTA and BEV/DN receivers.
