LNBs Power.

I have three receivers hooked to four LNBs, using 3X4 multi-switches and DiSEqC switches. My questions is if I am to remove one receiver from service, do I have to power off all the receivers. I know I have to shut off the receiver that I am working on, but how about the rest?

Just as a precaution turn all receivers off from the back switch.

I agree with Costactc on this, turn ALL equipment off at the switch in back, and if the multi switch(s) is(are) an externally powered one (DC power inserter(s)) turn that(them) off as well.

You don't want one of those "OOPS" moments and have a bricked receiver or switch.

Agreed, but I'm unplugged all the equipment just to play safe (learned from a dish technician) before doing any hook ups.
