I'm hoping that someone can shed a light on my delima. I have a dlink wireless router that i used for all purpose connections, lately since i moved into my new home, everytime i turn on my Wireless stereo system, my router cuts out. I have tried different frequencys and that didnt help. I have disconnected by home phone which operates on 2.4GHZ and that was no help at all. It seems to be my stereo where i have the issue. Its a Panasonic Wireless back speakers receiver.

The speakers are using a higher RF power level then the WIFI router and are swamping the signal from the WIFI, or it also could be that they are using a wide band signal that is covering the 2.5 GHz WIFI band.

Any way you can run wire to the speakers and not use the wireless function for them?

If not then you will have to go to a 5 GHz WIFI system. (wireless N)

Thanks for the reply. Im using Wireless n as my laptop is operating on N and the router is a dlink runnin N but for some reason it only operates on 2.4 not 5.8

Ok, i found the solution to this problem incase someone else runs into the same problem. I purchased a Belkin D600 Duel Frequency 2.4-5.0GH Router and a Linksys USB Duel LAN Adapter. I now am working on 5.0GHZ on my computer while my stereo operates on 2.4 thus not disconnecting my Internet since they are now on different Frequency's. Just another not that the Speed of my Internet is alot faster. Hope this helps someone. Thanks
