Just did a quick look online, I can't find a part number for just the LED pod. The mirror glass (power, heated, signal) itself is $191 on gmpartsdirect.com, it lists for $311 at the dealer. You should really phone the parts desk at your GM dealer and see if they have a part number for just the bulb though.
You could also check ebay or a wrecker as well, but unless the used glass is a very good price there's no telling how long it would last.

I would take the LED pod out first, disconnect the 2 wires to it. Turn the signal on for that side and make sure there is voltage. Look for any signs of corrosion in the LED assembly. Usally there is a circuit board that the LED`s attach to with resistors if the resistor(s) are open replacing the led`s won`t do anything. I assume it will require de-soldering tool and some soldering skills to put the new leds in.
