changed out Airlink router to a trendnet now wired sv8000 says DNS FAIL

Went from an Airlink 101 to a trendnet TEW-652BRP router, computers wired cat 5 to router work. About 30 foot run to sonicview 8000 wired connection to trendnet gives DNS Fail, Tried many times always connect fail on multiple servers. If I link out of trendnet, with wire into Airlink, and plug cat 5 to a output port of Airlink, to sonicview it connects within seconds. Airlink was dropping connections so I bought a new trendnet. Is there a setting in the trendnet that will let sonicview connect? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to make sure that the ports used by the sonicview are open. Opening/blocking ports is usually done in the security settings.
