Independent wrestlers Vik Dalishus will face Hale Collins at this Friday's Impact Wrestling World Tour event at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, which starts at 7:30 p.m. The match will serve as a tryout for TNA Wrestling.
Dalishus, whose real name is Rob Begley, has had televised and non-televised matches for WWE in the past, and he and his former tag team partner were in constant contact with TNA for years, trying to get a look from the company.
Begley tells PoughkeepsieJournal.com, "If I've ever been on my game to go out and kick (butt), this is going to be it. I don’t think the things I did with WWE were my best shot. I am going to give it my best shot and if I have to walk away, I will walk away with no regrets.”
