Panama .- The Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto,the super welterweight champion of the world, was chosen as "Boxer of the Month" by the World Boxing Association (WBA) in the classification of this entity for the months of November and October 2011, released today in Panama City.
Cotto retained the super welterweight title by defeating ten-round knockout to Antonio Margarito in a fight contested on 3 December in New York City.
