For most people that I know that lives in Duck Country its a way of life, yes you guessed it.Duck Season and boy do we ever have the ducks in the flooded timber.
Went day before yesterday and 4 of us had our limit before 9;30,The first shot started it all. Ole brother Skript525 made the shot and IT WAS ON,like donkey Kong,Those son of a guns came out of everywhere.
We started the hunt waking up at 3 am drove to the swamp an hour, then put the boat in 20 more minutes, set out the deeks 20 minutes fired up the blind heater and grabbed a chaw of tobacco, loaded the gun, took a swig of coffee, and it was on.Next thing I knew I had my limit,<--Ya`ll be safe and good luck with your duck hunt this year,If you wish I can post pictures I just need to delete some of the info on them as any picture has toooooooooo much info if you know what to look for w00t!
PS and to think I have been known to shed a tear the last day of goose season but cheer up right nice thinking about spring turkey season!
