it has no problem with the quad dp lnb connect through your dp34, but did you know dp34 working or not.
If it previous work with other revc, it should work fine 3,and the four check your cable line and home ground
cable.

you will need to power the dp34 with regular sub/ird on the first out port on the switch.

The DP34 switch is not compatible with the LNB for 58 west, if that is a Dish Pro 34 switch from Dish, it will only work with Dish Pro LNB's, it will not work with a linear LNB that is for 58W.
And as Stream has mentioned it needs DC power from a Dish receiver to make it work.
Connecting the linear LNB to that switch may cause it to shut down.

The DP34 does "NOT" require power, honestly there is no place to plug power into the DP34. Obviously, as the other respondents posted you have to have ALL of your LNB's DishPro or it simply will not work. The DP34 is tough, weather tight and can be operated up to 200 feet away. One of the biggest problems that most FTA hobbyists face with the DishPro LNB's is that when you strip off the cover then the neck of the LNB is smaller than a LNB clamp made for a standard LNB. So as long as you have adapters to fit the DishPro LNB's available, or you are really good at modifying the DishPro LNB so it is securely clamped in the holder you will be OK. Most people who do not have adapters simply wrap the neck of the DishPro switch with electrical tape. I actually really like the DP34 switch, but most hobbyists have no interest in rigging up their dishes in this fashion. We simply bought a elliptical Dish that is made for standard LNB's, and it only cost a hundred bucks.

That is what the "Power Inserter" is for, to power the DP34 switch.

The DP34 switch doesn't require power, as per the documentation from Dish. It's nowhere near as power hungry as the DPP44, so you shouldn't have a problem unless you connect it to a 1000.x LNB.
Dish did make a DP linear LNB, they can be found on the Superdish 105 or 121. That linear LNB has been used for FTA by a few people, however you'll need to track down a C-120 feedhorn for it.
