Harddrive Prices?

Anyone else notice the huge increase in price of internal harddrives? Seems like they are almost double. I bought a couple of 1.5TB drives a few months ago for $ 79.00 apiece, on sale, and, WOW was I in for a shock when I checked on buying another this past week!

flooding in the thailand have pushed the prices of harddrives.

I need to read the world news more often. So the flood in Thailand is the culprit.
I remember a lotta years ago,....was it an earthquake somewhere, where the RAM memory is made, it drove up prices on that for a while.

It's also after Christmas, so prices always go back up.

They should drop again sometime in March before inventory tax time.
