You could try some of the site sponsors .... you also need a larger dish (over 30 iniches) to use that type of LNB. Set freq at 10750.

Just like to add - recommend a Standard Linear LNB(10750MHz) as opposed to a Universal Linear LNB as the Universal uses 22KHz tone switching to switch between the low/high frequencies which is useless for North American Sats and most Atlantic sats as the NA beams are NOT at that lower frequency.

Might want to google FTA and your location for someone local before having it shipped from a online supplier ?

Seriously check out the DMX522. They are very good.

usually the lower the noise figure,,,,the better it will be

some linear LNB'S are at 0.3 db some 0.2 db lke the DMX 522

basically means the bigger the noise figure will be,,,the bigger dish size you will need

But I agree with Augold,,,,,the DMX 522 really looks good,,,,I have never tried one myself,,,,but have heard great things

Another one is the Fortec linear,,,,,,at 0.2 db also

Cheers,,,

I once tested 5 different Dual Linear LNB's back to back on the same equipment and the DMX came out as second best. The best in my series was the Chaparral, unfortunatle there was no model number on it. But there was not much difference between these two.

I bought the Chaparral Heavy Duty

Not from Galaxy, but from ePoop.

It was a dud, When I contacted the seller they were polite & sent me the DMX522 & told me to keep the Chaparral.

So I called the company at my expense to see if I was just blind or if the LNBF really was bad. The gentleman was rude, & when I asked for help he said they have never made those LNBF's & hung up on me. Needless to say that finished me buying Chaparral
:tape:

If your is better that's great, but I'm not gonna try it. Let's get Mikey :tehe:

Although I've never tried the DMX, I'm still suggesting the invacom quad because of the circular(might want to use the dish for bev and dn as well).

Eh Stan, 1/3 the price of the invacom.

I must say I have had the Invacom for abt 2 yrs now and have been very very happy with it,,,,,

As you mentioned Costactc,,,,defenitely a + to have the Invacom since you both can do circular and linear,,,,+ you can connect a second receiver to it since t is quad,,,

Cheers,,,
