Hi there! I currently have 82/91 using dish pro quad(4 output) lnbf and 110/119/129 using dual output single lnbf. All sats going into 4x1 disecq switch. I would like to know if i could use the dish pro quad connected to zinwell 6x8 so i dont have to use so many 4x1 disecq switches. I have used 2 zinwell 6x8 switches before to get 82/91/110/119/129 all using regular single lnb with dual output to connect to 5 fta stbs a while back. I just never tried the dish pro quad with the 6x8 before. I think i read somewhere that the dishpro quad has internal switches. Also if it is possible, what would the settings be for the nfusion boxes. Thanks in advance for any help.

so u think if i take the first two output from the dishpro quad and put it in the 18/13v of the zinwell and set the reciever to 22khz off, it would work? i just have to ask now to save me the frost bite.

I understand that you have a DishPro Quad for 91 & 82. Do you have 3 dual output/single LNBs, 1 for each of sats 129, 119, & 110? Also is sounds to me that you have those 3 LNBs input into a 4x1 DiSEqC switch? Need to confirm your present setup.
A Zinwell 6x8 will NOT work to input 3sats to 8 receivers. You can use the 6x8 as a 4x8 multiswitch. The center 2 flex ports are useless when it comes to FTA. They are only applicable to DirecTV receivers. Also when you input a DishPro LNB into a multiswitch, only 1 cable is used, which is input to the 13V port(vertical) of the switch. The 18V port(horizontal) is NOT used.
Your best bet is to input the Quad into 1 side of the 6x8 (say 22KHz OFF) and input the DiSEqC switch into the other side (say the 22KHz ON). 13V ports only. Remember your receiver settings must match your physical setup.

Im not sure if i follow you on the connections. if im reading it correctly, what ur saying is to put one of the lines from the dishpro on to the 13v 22khz off. then put the output of the disecq switch with 110/119/129 into the 13v 22khz on. i thought that the zinwell requires 2 input from each lnb to work and pik up both horizontal and vertical tps. i will try that ifthat is what u are saying.

DishPro and DishPro Plus use "Band Stacking" in which all TPs, Vertical and Horizontal are placed on the Vertical Band only. The Horizontal(18V) is not used. DishPro is 1 cable rather then 2.

Are you trying to connect a DPPlus LNB to a multiswitch, you can connect DP duals but a twin with a built in switch I myself haven't had any luck that way only dual and single LNBs. I could be way off the mark with this but I think you need a DPP44 with a DPP twin LNB.
